Dear R4 Forum of Germany, My husband Alessandro and I will travel from Genoa (our hometown in Italy) to Hamburg with our R4 (photo) in the next days. More or less 1200 km.. The idea is to leave on the 26th of December and be in Hamburg on the 29, passing - after a stop in Alsace - through Bonn, Rheinland Westfalen etc. We‘ll stay in the Hamburg area a few days to see my husband‘s sister and the German part of the family and then we will travel back to Italy, through another route (maybe Frankfurt and Stuttgart..) On the road to go and to come back we would like to make some stops in Germany and, who knows, meet other people fond of the R4 like us. And then, you never know, if we should have any problem with the car we want to be sure that our Lotty (that‘s the name of our R4) falls into the right hands, that of an expert mechanic!
